Think what you like but I don't see how it's crony capitalism.

No one in the Trump organization, especially him, got their palm greased, got campaign contributions, or got one of their pals a job in return for their staying which means it's Trump dealing with the reality that the government has force on companies like Carrier, not Trump or his cronies benefiting from doing something that helps Carrier.

Crony Capitalism is the Clinton administration being full of people who made money and got positions on boards (basically high paid no show jobs) from selling technology to China during his stay in the Whitehouse or companies giving a few million to the Hillary campaign and a few million to the Clinton Foundation in return for Hillary as SoS giving an Ok to an arms deal in Pakistan or elsewhere.

Trump is the only one who can twist arms to get the damage Bill Clinton, Bush RINOs in Congress, and Barry, have done to the economy for decades and as such the people who are going to benefit from his efforts, his "cronies" if you will, are We The People.

That's not Crony Capitalism.

That's a real leader finally protecting all of us from our worst enemy, the Federal Government.

Well yes, "Crony Capitalism" is probably too broad a term for the Carrier case particularly when compared to the actual examples supplied in abundance by Obama.

But this was a deal that favored Carrier but not the refrigeration industry in general. That is not the way to go and if not "Crony Capitalism" it is still favoritism and will be painted as political when the goal (saving 1000 jobs) was, IMHO, quite honorable.

Bottom line is that we need less of this going forward and a rapid move by Trump to lower taxes and regulations. That will do the trick.

And we certainly need less Mark Levin ranting on the subject. He is burning bridges way faster than even Trump could build them.

It’s not. And the “Movement Conservatives” know it. What this is about is the lingering butt hurt the Trump beat Cruz. They will continue for YEARS looking for anything to scream at Trump about rather then admit they were wrong.
