I stopped watching TV four years ago. I don’t even own a TV, now. I’ve seen one movie in the last year because I thought it was important for my 19-year-old daughter to see ‘13 Hours’.

I hear a lot of people complain about liberal Hollywood, but they never put their money where their mouth is. If you think your giving less to Hollywood because you’re a cord-cutter, you’re wrong.

Honestly, between books, the radio, podcasts, YouTube, and the internet in general, there is more than enough to do without paying for liberal ideas to be pumped into your head. Most of us don’t realize how desensitized we become when we watch TV. I didn’t realize until about a year ago when I was at a friends house and someone was watching NCIS, a show I used to like. I literally couldn’t handle what was being presented in the show.

If you’re going to cut the cord, do it right. It’s just a drug. It’s just an addiction. There is help. Log in to FreeRepublic, and break the chains that bind your mind.
