I think she is playing the other cable news channels as well as the networks to see who will pay her the most with the longest contract.

One of them will fall for it and be out quite a chunk of change and regret it when her popularity continues to go down.

There is only so much time left for a middle aged woman like Megyn to use that...

Stupid move. Fox has all the cash advantages. CNN cannot outbid them. Not from the bottom of the ratings heap. I read in the piece that Megyn might be able to get into a Hollywood movie from a subsidiary to CNN. But why would she want that? OTOH, the piece did say that she is universally despised by other anchors at FOX. I wonder about that one.

She stays at Fox if the twenty million story is true.

She reportedly got a five million advance or her book, which is peanuts compared to that salary. No amount of book promotion would compare.

Still, she could make an emotional decision and bolt to be "despised by on air talent" at CNN. That would be fun! I don't see Megyn with many friends wherever she goes.
