Trump Blasts 'Saturday Night Live' as 'One-Sided Biased Show,' Asks 'Equal Time for Us?'
ABC News ^ | November 20, 2016 | David Caplan

President-elect Trump weighed in on this weekend's 'Saturday Night Live' show that had Alec Baldwin playing him, tweeting , "It is a totally one-sided, biased show - nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?"

Saturday's show was marked by the return of Alec Baldwin, who played candidate Donald Trump before the election, in his debut as the president-elect.

The episode's cold open (below, in its entirety) -- set at Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, where Trump is holding meetings this weekend -- kicked off with Baldwin's Trump telling Kate McKinnon's Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, that he could not have won the election without her.

"I think about that every day," she says, sighing. (McKinnon's legendary portrayal of Hillary Clinton was absent from the episode.)

or even do something creative and funny.

Well, it's pretty obvious they are totally incapable of that.

HE cracked me up in 30 Rock. I watched that show for a while. I wanted to hate it but it was too funny.

Oh, OUCH. Excuse me, I thought this was a forum for ideas. Lighten up. He’s the President-elect. IN MY OPINION, to bring any advertisement for a dumb show like SNL is not smart and gives them the leverage because they know they get under his skin. They are nothing... treat them like nothing.

Trump is beginning to overdo this kind of thing. It was one thing tweeting all the time during the campaign, but now he is President-Elect & he has better things to do.

The man has done nothing but foul up since June 2015....wait, what?

I feel that way about a lot of the mainstream media content that gets posted and discussed here. I wish we could just ignore them. But I guess we wouldn’t have anything to talk about then.

Bullshit. You sound like the many concern trolls we had on FR during the election. Trump fights. Let him never stop fighting all of these scumbags.

Trump is not afraid to fight anyone. They think they can just take potshots in their own little echo chamber without getting a response back.

I am not following your logic. I was talking about the President addressing it, not us.

It’s a liberal TV show. You know what you’re in for when you turn the TV on. They don’t need to supply equal time. It think it diminished him and elevates him. He needs to Save his energy for what is really important. AGAIN, He ain’t listening to me...but at some point he has to realize he is the President of the United States and this is beneath him.

I was noting the other day how many of the late 80s SNL crew turned out to be conservative: Dennis Miller, Victoria Jackson, Rob Schneider and Jon Lovitz, all have come out as conservatives in recent years.

Hoping he never stops tweeting also! That’s the way he is our president. He talks to us directly. When we wonder what he’s thinking about this or that; you don’t have to wait for the press to tell us besides they stopped telling us the truth years ago!

FROM DONALD’S TWEET TO OUR EARS!NO MIDDLE MAN.

Trump should break up the free TV networks;they don’t represent 2/3 of the country.

I don’t want the Fairness Doctrine like in Nixon’s day, but the Trump FCC should talk to Comcast-NBC about Comcast opening up access to other media on their cable systems other than the existing mix.

It isn’t in line with the First Amendment to tell NBC what to put on its channel, but make sure other channels have access to cable.

Older audiences with limited options and mobility are subjected to hours of the existing media mix on their cable television sets.

That’s all the media.

FDR took over the media. Trump can do the same.

Up and during the primaries he got over a billion dollars in free press every single day until he was the candidate.

Of course they aren’t going to cover him fairly, have the lamestream press ever covered anything fairly.

You don’t ask them for fairness...ROFL that’s insanity. Just create an alternative and kick their asses.

In regards to NPR - defund them. Don’t have the govt involved in any of this.

If conservatives want a show like SNL then they should create it, in the meantime all conservatives should just boycott completely anyone connected to the left.

It’s just a choice, the majority of the left are on some form of government assistance their shows, movies, newspapers, etc will eventually disappear.

No need for the government to get involved because if they do the next time a marxist is in the WH watch what happens...

Just open up the floodgates on libel for them. If they deliberately tell lies and create a false narrative then exempt them from free speech protection.

Have a program to allow whistle-blowers to come forward, expose the trash (like wikileaks) and then unleash the courts and let everyone have their day in court and after they lose about 200 libel cases and every single one of their assets is liquidated, problem solved.

Look at what happened to Gawker, the exact same can apply here.

They know they buried stories, they know they participated directly with campaigns to create a false narrative, expose it all and those in charge should be banned from journalism for life...drain the swamp.

I would like to see President Trump get a new press room about 500 feet deep and have chairs up front for honest reporters (probably will need only a couple of chairs) and about 450 feet of closed off area with the mainstread media sitting n the far back where they can’t hear he President and the President can’t hear them.
