If Trump had lost narrowly, he would retain a significant following of very strong supporters that would still rally to him, come to see him speak, ask for his opinion on national matters, seek his endorsement for office, etc. The media would call it a "cult of personality" and tsk tsk at it.

In Hillary's case, within another 60 days nobody will care if she moved to the jungle. Nobody likes her and the only case she could make to be President in the first case came down to three things: (1) she's a woman (2) she deserves it and (3) she's not Trump. What about all the down ballot races. Don’t the absentee ballots impact the
winner/loser in those? The down ballot races have much smaller numbers
than the presidental numbers.
