Brit Hume (who I detest) made a comment election night - I think it was when Trump was at 254 & we were waiting for FOX to call either PA or MI. He said he had heard from his sources (and he does have good sources) that the Trump Transition Team, headed up by Chris Christie, was at work and that they were “top notch”. VERY organized, knew what they were doing & were doing a great job.
I would expect nothing less from Trump and was glad to hear it, even it Brit was the messenger.
Thanks for the info. I used to like Brit Hume some time ago - now when he’s on I turn the channel. Haven’t watched him at all since he took over Greta’s show (never did hear why she left so abruptly). I’m looking forward to Tucker Carlson taking over that time slot with his new show starting next Monday. Unfortunately, he’s on the same time here as Lou Dobbs (who I love) - 4 p.m. Pacific, so I’ll need to DVR and/or watch reruns.
I would expect nothing less of Trump, to have a transition team, with qualified people, in place right after the convention. I know he and his team are going to hit the ground running.
He’s on his way to meet with Obummer. I was wondering if Melania would be with him and get a tour of the family residence (I suspect she will have a LOT of much needed changes). Not sure if she’ll get a tour, but she did board the Trump Force 1 with him a little while ago.
