Oh, I got my Masters degree in the interim. And I was right about Minor V. Happersett, I have held the the actual SCOTUS published Register in my hands, at the U of O. I used to study in the Law Library. I perused many SCOTUS volumes as I had access as a grad student.

One thing I remember is the long threads we had with hundreds even thousands of posts..now it seems there are a dozen different threads and questions and posts have to be repeated a dozen times. I don’t know how to get it organized..
for example a lot of younger people never heard about Nixon’s pardon, they don’t know how indictments and search warrants work, the Constituion, elections etc...its like a bad dartboard with points everywhere instead of concentrated on the bullseye. If people would stop and google their questions before posting it might cut down on the distractions.
