If you read the Wikileaks document in question, it is not a new accusation. It's the Hillary team gloating that Scarborough reported the Algeria story incorrectly and their going to use it to discredit him. According to Team Hillary in this Wikileaks, Algeria was never on the list, so there was no quid pro quo to remove them.
I don't know why Gateway Pundit is portraying this differently than it is.

Seems a lot of sites are jumping the gun on these leaks.
The major media can get away with intentional bias but minor media just discredit themselves.
Of course they do get ‘clicks’ in the meanwhile.

Exactly. I had to read this thing twice because Algeria wasn’t on the list. It’s acknowledged they had/have human rights issues but these sites need to stop misrepresenting these emails. When it’s proven otherwise it makes Wikileaks look bad.....then again, that may be the plan.
