I know you are having reading comprehension problems, but there is a difference between "was" and "is". Like, for example, Donald Trump "was" a democrat is true, and Trump "is" a democrat is false. Senor "was" an advisor in the Romney/Ryan in "2012". He "is" not a Ryan advisor.
