So why did Cruz feel the need to comment? Like people care what he thinks?
Believe it or not people do care what he thinks. Cruz is recognized as one of the best debaters on the nation scene and if he is praising Trump for his best performance then is carries some weight. Reading the comments from yesterday people, like myself, were not thrilled with Trump’s debate performance as he left too many issues on the table. However, reading Cruz’ and others like Pat Caddell’s comments tells me our guy is be fine. My contacts on the Trump team for Pennsylvania tell me that he met all the goals they had set out for him and that he will improve upon yesterday’s performance. Cruz’s increased activity for Trump should further galvanize the move of Republicans towards Trump. After the convention an estimated 75% of Republicans backed him. A week ago that number was around 89% and I have read where it is higher today. Cruz’s support, as will the support of other thumb sucking Republicans “neverTrumpers”, help in this regard. We need this number to be around 95% to 97%. Internal polling has Trump even and rising in Pennsylvania and if the election were held today the Democrats would win the state by 4%. This is due to precincts in Philly turning out 200% of registered voters as the graveyards empty out their voters. We are in an all hands on board situation if we are to win this. I am happy to have Cruz aboard.
I for one, am happy with any help at all. I welcome Cruz’s remarks.
Your’re kidding right? Cruz got several million votes from conservatives. He is now trying to help DTJ. Put your attitude aside and try to win this election.
i feel so betrayed by him when I initially supported him from the get go. then i found out he’s a Bush operative.
what tipped me off during research were 2 things.
#1: his wife worked for GSachs
#2: he said he was a “baptist”......which was NOT the truth-
Cruz being a dominionist & that’s a weird , scarey thing.
but then again, it’s mho.
His “people” care, donors to the GOP. Can only help.
So why did Cruz feel the need to comment? Like people care what he thinks?
I agree!!
He’s like the Kardashian’s of politics...just trying to stay relevant. Like his BFF Looney Beck.
He wants to become President some day and wants people to forget the other past stuff.
IT is evident some of us still do not have what it takes to do that
You asked who cares .. I do.
Like people care what he thinks?

Your question can apply to most of us that post on forums such as this.
Be grateful that some who should have been on board earlier, are now on board, and do not seek to payback those now on board for past errors--certainly not in the midst of a campaign.
Enough "NeverTrump" people do care that we should care too. If even 10% of Cruz supporters are NeverTrump (a realistic number), that is a lot of votes, enough to swing more than one close state. I'll take those votes - happily! I don't ask you to forgive Cruz, but at least be gracious in accepting a gift that matters.
>>So why did Cruz feel the need to comment? Like people care what he thinks?<<
I care. He is my Senator and might I add, the most conservative Senator in that body.
Trump needs all the help he can get. Although I will vote for Trump and hope he wins in a landslide, Gotta say, that boy couldn’t articulate a point to save his life. I personally thought he had his @$$ handed to him in that debate.
I was cringing.
I care.
I care what he thinks. I am voting for Trump because I hate Hillary Clinton. Ted Cruz is if nothing else a statesman. And conservatives need statesmen.
bkmk for later
