Glenn Beck on Friday voiced sorrow over Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) endorsing Donald Trump for the presidency.
[This is] a profoundly sad day for me, he wrote on Facebook. "Disappointment does not begin to describe.
Maybe it is time to go to the mountains for a while, the conservative commentator added. "Again, disappointment doesnt even begin to describe my feelings.
Beck, who supported Cruz over Trump in the GOPs presidential primary, added he feared for the nations future.
America is an idea, not a country, he said. "When we discuss the destruction of our country, that is vastly different than the destruction of an idea. I fear the idea is already lost, due to the panic of losing ones comfort and country.
The founders meant it much differently when they said: join or die. Welcome to the big tent. GOP / DNC 2016 join or die. Long live the idea of the republic.
Cruz earlier Friday endorsed Trump, a stunning reversal after months spent refusing to back the Republican presidential nominee.
Our country is in crisis, he wrote on Facebook. "Hillary Clinton is manifestly unfit to be president, and her policies would harm millions of Americans. And Donald Trump is the only thing standing in her way.
A year ago, I pledged to endorse the Republican presidential nominee, and I am honoring that commitment. And if you dont want to see a Hillary Clinton presidency, I encourage you to vote for him.
Cruz refrained from endorsing Trump after their at-times heated GOP presidential primary.
Beck was fiercely critical of Trump during their contest, even suggesting in March no real Christian would back the billionaire.
The radio host predicted in May, however, Trump would ultimately defeat Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.
LOL!
Poor Stabby.
He really should go to the mountains for a while. A good long while. All that wide open space and tranquility might help him to find his elusive sanity, at last.
Maybe it is time to go to the mountains for a while,
The Mountains of Afghanistan would be a good choice
Slow down yes but I’ll be pushing my state senate for the only true solutions see article 5
Maybe it is time to go to the mountains for a while,
As long as those mountains are the Alps or the Pyrenees.
Smarter than everyone else. More enlightened perhaps.
San Diego radio Stinks too.
Beck at 6pm and tossers the
rest of the time,,,
But I’d call Vinnie BOOM Bah,
AKA Bat Man.
I lived in Richmond once, when it was the murder capital of the country.
Only stayed three years, we had infant sons and didn’t want them growing up there.
The local news ain’t what it used to be.
Everything has a leftward tilt to it.
Even here in the countryside.
I agree, it is truly sad. I wouldn’t have known anything about the, evil, nafarious workings and ongoing plans of the Fabian Society if not for Glenn Beck.
I don’t blame Cruz at all for this. If he expects Trump to win, he should do it. Politically, it’s the right call.
“San Diego radio Stinks too.

I heard San Diego is a nice place to be FROM.
JK
Worst part about the local station is they rebroadcast his show every night.
That’s like piling stupid on top of dumb.
He was great back in the day.
His radio show was funnier before he got on Headline News.
There and at Fox he did some really good work exposing the left.
Then he went astray.
LOL.
RUSH is ON in the morning, followed by Hannity.
“RUSH is ON in the morning, followed by Hannity.”
Oh you crazy late coasters!
Here on the good coast we get a head start on you folks because the sun likes us better.
It HAS to see us before it cares about the rest of the country.
You said the perfectly, FRiend!

Sorry.
I got this ALL wrong.
I’m sitting in the dark.
Never mind.
I ALSO HATE GLENN BECK @ 6 PM in SAN DIEGO!!
I goofed-up!!
I always wondered why he left Fox. I never have heard why. Can anybody clue me in?
“I goofed-up!!”
Don’t worry.
If I don’t goof up twice before lunch I pinch myself to make sure I’m awake!
