God bless the Sikhs. I have dealt with them when I was working and when I was retired. They tend to be straight up front no nonsense folks. Strong sense of duty and honor.

Maybe the ones I encountered were anomalies but what I can say is in a SHTF scenario I would want a Sikh man or women next to me.

TRUE story regarding a Sikh.
He was hired to work in Silicon Valley and he drove his motorcycle to work every day. HOWEVER, in California EVERY motorcyclist MUST wear a helmet.

Said Sikh wouldn't do it and demanded a religious exception because a motorcycle helmet would NOT FIT over his turban.
The California DMV said: NO way, Jose...HELMET!! Or drive a car.

Lol. That Sikh got himself a HUMOUNGOUS helmet that DID fit over his turban...and he INSTANTLY became the laughing stock of California. It was hilarious!

Apparently he either left and went home to India or started driving a car. He was never seen again. It makes me smile every time I hear of the famous TURBAN.
God bless him. I still smile when I'm reminded of the "turban" story.
