Well, one reason she can’t shake it is because she continues to obfuscate, lie, and hide documents. As they said during Watergate “the coverup is worse than the crime”. If she let everything out and there were no smoking guns it would have been forgotten.
Which begs the question, why an attorney who worked on the Watergate hearings would pursue these tactics? I’m afraid of the answer.
It’s obvious there is something damning in there or she never would have deleted evidence under subpoena in the first place. She’s a lawyer, whether she thinks she is above the law or not, she is not stupid enough to do such a thing unless the penalties for whatever she was covering up are much worse than the penalties for destroying evidence.

No sense of ethics or moral character; falsifying and/o destroying evidence supporting the "defendant's" Constitutional Rights defense.
