Wisconsin GOP Kicks Out Paul Ryan’s Challenger From Trump Rally
Daily Caller ^ | August 6, 2016 | Scott Greer

Posted on 08/06/2016 9:21:29 AM PDT by Pinkbell

Paul Nehlen, House Speaker Paul Ryan’s Republican primary challenger, was ejected by Wisconsin GOP staffers from a Donald Trump rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin Friday night.

Nehlen was able to enter the premises of the rally before being urged to leave by individuals affiliated with the state party organization, according to his campaign. A Nehlen spokesman told The Daily Caller the Trump campaign had reached out and invited the congressional candidate to attend the rally earlier Friday.

Trump went on to endorse Speaker Ryan at the rally, as well as Arizona Sen. John McCain and New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte in their respective primaries. The move is seen as a reversal from Trump’s comments Tuesday in which he praised Nehlen and refused to endorse Ryan in the Wisconsin congressional primary.

Once he gets up in the polls he says or does something stupid, such as endorsing Ryan and sticking it to Nehlan, thus sticking it to his supporters, so there is a reason for his poll numbers to drop.

You’ve got things very backwards here. I would suggest you get outside of the Freeper bubble and see what’s really happening in the larger political world. Trying to almost single-handedly fight the Dems, the GOPe, and foremost the media over the past two weeks has caused his poll numbers to drop like a brick cast in the ocean (Real Clear Politics Trump v. Clinton poll averages). He had to do something to stem the bleeding. Trump already has the vast majority of us. He needs the 10% or so of the population that he might be able to get but who see things very, very differently from us. These are the sorts who like mainstream Republicanism or who are Indies who fear that Trump is too radical. They want to see signs that he is “safe” enough to vote for. And seeing him unify his party like Reagan did (while quoting Reagan even) is a sign of that.

Trump had to change the media narrative. With this one move he knocked the Khan scandal, which all evidence suggested was destroying his campaign, to the periphery. He began with letting everyone know that he actually likes Nehlen better, and he gave him a national spotlight that he has never had before. Yet Trump sees that Ryan is up 66% over Nehlen. He knows no matter how much he or his followers like Nehlen, he’s going to lose. By doing the refusal to endorse followed by endorsing, he gets the best of both worlds (and two media cycles not focused on Trump hates vets, Trump is insane, Trump is an agent of Putin, and other paranoid propaganda). Now he can crow that he endorsed the winner, while telling the GOPe that he is unifying the party and how it's time to get behind him to beat Hillary and the Dems (which should be everyone's first priority).

In re: the other two, the lefties/media were using his old McCain comments to further the Khan propaganda narrative that Trump hates vets. Trump did what he could to stop this. Ayotte going down in flames in NH will hurt his chances of winning the state. Plus, he really does need the Senate to stay Republican if he wants to get his agenda passed. McConnell may be bad, but Reid will be many times worse at working with a President Trump. Just remember, if Trump wins, the anti-establishment forces will have more power within party than at any time since at least Reagan (if not ever). Doing what he needs to do to win should be the first priority.

ATTENTION !

Where are our Wisconsin freepers?

Whadayah hearing from the ground your areas?

In my Florida area (central Gulf coast), I've had fantastic feedback everywhere I go. No one in the scores of folks I've encountered and talked with over many months (wearing my red Trump cap as bait, LOL) in supermarkets, banks, post office, big box stores, restaurants, medical waiting rooms, etc. has been for Hillary except for one sour-looking, frumpy, unhappy, middle-aged loser female who tossed a nasty anti-Trump word at me in Publix.

What's cookin' about Nehlen in the land of cheese and yummy sausages?

Most Trump haters have not viewed many or even any of his rallies, speeches, interviews or read his position papers.

If they have, and still hate him they’re hopeless. I don’t know what group you fall into.

I suppose a lot are dem/repuke operatives, too.

The ones here are not relatively harmless at all. All naturalized mohammedans can have their citizenship revoked and sent home. Unless they want to disavow all violent teachings and abhorrent practices of Islam. And one step off of that, out.

Trump is his own worst enemy. Khan would have been a fart in the wind not even mentioned if Trump had not engaged. His problem is that he has absolutely no emotional intelligence. It’s like a tick and his need to engage all vs few. His endorsement of Ryan and McLame was his doing and no one else.

Look I’m voting for the guy but he hasn’t done himself any favors either

I also hope the Wisconsin voters in Paul Ryan's district put America first and send Ryan home for good! Let him live behind the wall around his home instead of him working to keep Trump from securing our borders. And we know Ryan will do everything he can to push the TPP!

In case you missed it, here is a clip of Ann Coulter in support of Paul Nehlan. Yes, Trump was polite and did give Ryan a rather weak endorsement, but we know Ryan would be nothing but a thorn in Trump’s side and Ryan will NOT put America first! GO NENLAN!

Nehlen’s rally this afternoon.
Actually looks pretty good, but Ryan’s a tough nut to crack.

Why is that the go to argument? This then that? How about we unscrew our cantidates head from his posterior and start holding him accountable for his actions. How about next rally start voicing disapproval for decisions that any other cantidate would make would be a no starter?

Or better yet we can just continue ignoring and not hold him to account and pull him further to the right?

These endorsements now have me question whether Hillary SCOTUS pics will be any different than his

That’s rich given you back the pathetic, sniveling and AWOL junior Senator from Texas. Seems AWOL Ted Cruz is no longer willing to fight to stop Hillary as CINC and her SCOTUS picks. How pathetic is that? I’m sure your brothers in Corps look forward to the possibility of her as CINC.

Let’s take a TINY step back, Kids.

Ryan DOES need to go, but I’m not sure Nehlen is the one we WANT in his stead in The Great State of Wisconsin.

I’ve done some research and Nehlen is a bought and paid for agitator who is taking money - DARK MONEY - *GASP* from outside interests.

And that’s how Wisconsin got our useless, feckless, Doesn’t-Care-About-ANYTHING-But-Gay-Issues CongressLesbian, Tammy Baldwin!

Do some more homework. We The People are being played for FOOLS at every turn! For all we know, this Nehlen guy is yet another LIBERAL infiltrator TRAITOR.

Vote Early, Vote Often.

I think it’s sad that some Freepers can’t see how extremely manipulative the press has been in regard to Trump over the past two weeks. That being said, nothing you wrote changes the fact that Trump needs to get a broader group of people onboard the Trump train than our sort here. Endorsing the people he did, as distasteful as we find it, was simply a smart move. He has to pick his battles if he wants to win the big one.

Dan O’Donnell, a conservative talker out of Milwaukee, has been digging on Nehlen.
“In other words, Blue Skies Global LLC appears to be nothing more than Nehlen giving business advice to his friends. It is a small business with no employees, no revenue, no tax filings, and no clients that the Nehlen campaign wished to identify.”

This isn’t about Cruz as much as we’d like to make him the bogey man. Sounds as bad as Obama blaming Bush 7 years into his presidency. It’s about the man we are all about to vote for that can’t stop cramming his foot into his mouth. As I’ve stated over and again he has this itch and tick to try to fight everything out there. Khan? He could have just let that gone to inobscurity and no one would have known any different. But no he had to bring something that was a complete non issue to the forefront that dominated the news for over a week. Trump did that not MSM.

Trump endorsed McStain and Ryan. Not us, not Cruz, not the bogeyman but Trump did further alienating even more supporters but hey we’ll just pretend it never happened and pretend to be ok with it and do everything we can to explain it away as if it’s ok. Try to go into explanation mode “what Trump really meant by doing this” and utter recantation a of how much a genius he is? We’re not supposed to speak when Trump is dead wrong?

Trump has the last 2 weeks to put squarely in his shoulders as well as his campaign. They are not serving him well whatsoever. Here in Ohio I’ve yet to see a single commercial. A battleground state! But over seen numerous Hillary commercials. Trump best get his act together
