Wisconsin GOP Kicks Out Paul Ryan’s Challenger From Trump Rally
Daily Caller ^ | August 6, 2016 | Scott Greer

Posted on 08/06/2016 9:21:29 AM PDT by Pinkbell

Paul Nehlen, House Speaker Paul Ryan’s Republican primary challenger, was ejected by Wisconsin GOP staffers from a Donald Trump rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin Friday night.

Nehlen was able to enter the premises of the rally before being urged to leave by individuals affiliated with the state party organization, according to his campaign. A Nehlen spokesman told The Daily Caller the Trump campaign had reached out and invited the congressional candidate to attend the rally earlier Friday.

Trump went on to endorse Speaker Ryan at the rally, as well as Arizona Sen. John McCain and New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte in their respective primaries. The move is seen as a reversal from Trump’s comments Tuesday in which he praised Nehlen and refused to endorse Ryan in the Wisconsin congressional primary.

The same thing happened with McCain and Romney and even W. People not only held their noses when they voted, during the campaign they simply brushed aside or rationalized anything the candidates did that went against conservatism. And I see a lot of rationalizing going on.

When people want to win no matter what they’ll make excuses for their candidate. I understand that. Make excuses for Trump or elect Hillary. That’s not a hard choice to make.

Like I said, personally I believe it’s the machine at work and the votes of “we the people” haven’t counted for decades. Maybe Trump is a part of the machine and knows that. Or maybe he just learned and that’s why he’s saying it’s rigged. I do believe there are some powerful people who don’t have as much power as they think they have and aren’t invited to the meetings.

Who said I’m ignoring that? I’m well aware that he endorsed the Cheap Labor Express Trio. However, Gary Johnson just endorsed Black Lives Matter, Darrell Castle isn’t on the ballot in all fifty states, and Jill Stein is a green communist. It’s not like we have much of a choice here.

I believe LOTS of people KNOW who is going to win. And it might even be Ryan.

Citizen mohammedans are just as dangerous as non-citizen mohammadans.

Machiavellian.

Trump endorses ryan, but his GOP voters know he doesn’t really mean it.

Independents and Democrats don’t care either way.

The antics of GOP Inc alienate Republican voters in Ryan’s district. Hopefully they can carry the day and retire Ryan on primary day.

Trump endorsed TRAITOR MCCAIN??!!!?!

There’s something really, REALLY wrong here! Maybe he’s been graphically shown the REAL DC politics...

There’s a saying in Spanish: “Plata o plomo”.

I, also, believe that he made a big mistake. His reason[s] for doing it are relevant.

Why is that the go to argument? This then that? How about we unscrew our cantidates head from his posterior and start holding him accountable for his actions. How about next rally start voicing disapproval for decisions that any other cantidate would make would be a no starter?

Or better yet we can just continue ignoring and not hold him to account and pull him further to the right?

These endorsements now have me question whether Hillary SCOTUS pics will be any different than his

“I, also, believe that he made a big mistake. His reason[s] for doing it are relevant.”

Perhaps it wasn’t so much a mistake as an expedient personal decision. A look at the death list within the past couple years of those who somehow crossed the Clintons makes me not doubt anything. Trump has A LOT to lose, not the least a beautiful family.

Citizen musselmen are relatively harmless kept at their present numbers, but with more, many more, if Hillary has her way, they become extremely dangerous. Better the bird you know than the one you do not.

There are several things where I disagree with Trump. However, I am convinced his SCOTUS picks will be better. And he will be better than Hillary, who would be a total disaster for this country. He likely will not be everything we’d want him to be, but far better than Hillary. Among others, he is started the fight against political correctness.

The single reference to this incident in in the DC article. Nehlen has zero about it on his Nehlen for Congress Facebook page. There is a photo of him outside of the rally, but absolutely nothing about being kicked out - I read through the comments and found nothing about it either.

Weird.

Trump loves his money and wants to be reimbursed.

I think you are misunderstanding Trump’s reliance on the RNC. It’s too late to build a big ground operation in the states. Trump has to rely on the RNC if he wants to win, because they have huge numbers of experienced staffers in all the 15 or so swing states and an impressive variety of analytic info on voters.

This has nothing to do with reimbursement of his own money. He’s already said a few times in public that he refuses to be reimbursed for anything that he’s spent of his own. The money that the RNC is providing Trump’s campaign is money that Trump himself raised for the party with an agreement already in place that he would receive the majority of the money, while a smaller fraction would go to down-ballot Republicans. That is hardly the same thing as your accusation that he’s just greedy. Spending over 60 million of his own money already is the opposite of greed.
