here are 31 Republican governors and 18 Democrat governors.

And Three Judges just threw out voter ID laws. Governor mean squat because they all to a man bow down and lick the hands of the feds that control their money and power. Not since Alfalfa Bill Murry, Governor of Oklahoma have we had threats to call out the Guard against the Feds.

I have suggested for years that voters provide thumbprints with their signatures when they vote. But, instead of doing that, legislators keep passing laws attempting to require that voters buy ID's sold by the state and they keep getting tangled up in litigation. And, often they lose.

Personally, I have never known anyone who has ever told me that he/she has voted illegally and I have never known anyone who has ever told me that he/she knew someone who has voted illegally.

How much effort would you go to in order to cast an extra illegal vote? I wouldn't cross the street to do that and I certainly wouldn't risk being charged with a felony. Because of that and because I have never heard of anybody being prosecuted for voting illegally, I have voiced some doubt about how many people have actually voted illegally. It doesn't seem to me to be the type of crime that anyone would be highly motivated to commit.

But, if they are, a thumbprint is the best way to catch them.
