Hillary Clinton likely dodged criminal charges Tuesday for a simple reason: the bar for bringing criminal charges against a politician, particularly a high public official, is so much higher than they are for anyone else. Prosecutions against such high public officials only go forward when there is definitive evidence. Evidence that prosecutors know will lead to a certain conviction.
The FBI has no trouble going after judges and congressmen.
Democratic presidential nominees are another story.

"the bar for bringing criminal charges against a politician, particularly a high public official, is so much higher than they are for anyone else."Seems to me that the former Republican governor of Virginia, the former Republican Majority Leader of the House (from Texas) and the former Republican Senator from Alaska might each disagree. Each was prosecuted and convicted, but then exonerated on appeal.
What is the difference? Republican vs Clinton Democrat.

He was a smart guy we lost the Republic some years ago. Now we are close to not losing Democracy but becoming a Banana Republic with a mix of highest votes going to who can hand most benefit’s and are the most corrupt.

The one time I disagree with Lott. Agreed. Lott tried to stay non-partisan and consequently failed to sell his argument.
This isn't his usual area of commentary, either.

So there are two tiers of justice - one for the elites and one for the little people....

Yep.
Maybe he’s been hanging around shilling pundits for too long.

Bulltaco. If this had been Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz, the Obama FBI would have nailed their asses to a wall.

Comey had a very easy decision. Be set for life or face the end of his life. Recalling that line from "Braveheart", Comey chose to 'die many years from now in his bed.' I hope he's haunted by the fact that he had a chance -- just one chance -- to do the right thing... and he failed.

In Comey’s hostage rescue plea, I mean press conference, he made one reference to how widely known Hillary’s email arrangements were. What are the chances that Obama sent or received some of the classified info to Hillary? McConnell? Reid? Maybe Comey himself found he had sent or received something illegal to her.

The People spoke about Obama Care by giving the GOP Congress This is something we should remember, and why we should passionately hate them.
It's one thing to be opposed by someone you know to be your enemy... it's quite another to be secretly attacked and betrayed by someone claiming to be a friend.
