Cute stories, CottonBall! I have had cats behave like that, at the sight of the carrier, they would disappear not to be found. Now I put out the carrier two days before a trip to the vet and leave the door open...sometimes it works (use it as a cave to sleep in), sometimes it doesn’t..our pets make life interesting and we receive so much love from them and they from us.

Good idea. Ours would sleep in the carriers too. It was just some cue that Cotton figured out - moving a box, packing a cooler, etc.

I finally just out her in the bathroom before doing those things!

Yes, their unconditional love is wonderful. Speaking of which, I need to go brush them now!
