You are correct. I had a friend in college who was not a pretty girl. She had big ears, unfortunate features, very thick glasses and no figure at all. She also had males following her around like flies. She received more marriage proposals in a semester than most women get in a lifetime. It was amazing to watch. It was as you said, she liked men, liked to talk to them, listen to them and appreciated them. She didn’t sleep around, she respected herself and the men did too. But they were all crazy about her.
Men are very visual, and that makes us seem shallow sometimes, but that’s just a fact of life. It is how we are made by God, to appreciate those things.
But if a woman has a sparkle in the eye, and a smile, and isn’t generating those things artificially (and men do often get fooled by those) she can really put the hooks in us.
