While you are correct that Asperger’s or any highly functioning autism can be high intelligence combined with very low social skills, it doesn’t completely explain away all of Ted Cruz. He must have a personality disorder as well. People with aspergers are decent people and stick to the truth. They tend to be very literal and honest to a fault. IIRC the young man who shot up the Cinemak in Colorado had Aspergers. Ive run into several.. and they do have difficulty fitting in, you are right.

It has bothered me, quite a LOT, as well. The fact that his daughters both seem to fear and hate him AND that they always do misbehave, I find extremely worrisome. He and Heidi act as though they don't even know each other/are cold fish.

Even the Clintons and Obamas know how to put on a "loving" ACT in public.

They can’t metabolize them [or caffeine] properly and one of them, Xylitol, will kill them, outright.
