Interestingly, that was written by Harry Nilsson, who has a couple of other songs listed on this thread, "Without You" and "You're Breakin' My Heart." His "Nilsson Schmilsson" is one of the best albums of all time. The whole thing is on YouTube.
Also interesting that Without You was actually written by Pete Ham and Tom Evans of Badfinger.
