I wonder if Hollywood would greenlight a similar "comedy" about a muddled, brain tumor-afflicted Ted Kennedy. More to the point, most conservatives who despise Ted Kennedy and his policies would still see such a movie as tasteless and would be repulsed by it. Apparently that's not true of the perpetual 13 year olds like Will Ferrell who pass for "comedians" today.
On the bright side, I saw this story earlier on a the Telegraph (UK) website, and most of the comments posted there were along the lines of "I'm no Reagan fan, but this is disgusting." So at least some liberals have a modicum of maturity and decency left.
