If all the extra leaves that are growing because of increased CO2 in the atmosphere were laid end to end, it would cover a space twice the size of the continental US.
That's the conclusion of a new study conducted by 32of scientists and i24 nstitutions.
BBC:
Climate sceptics argue the findings show that the extra CO2 is actually benefiting the planet.
But the researchers say the fertilisation effect diminishes over time.
They warn the positives of CO2 are likely to be outweighed by the negatives.

LOL! Did you really think this would go very far before the caveats/buts started flowing? Otherwise these people would be cast out as deniers. No arguing with settled science.

Oh my, the trees are too dumb to take care of the “problem.” These jags outside of orthodoxy always end in doom and gloom.

How un-green can you get! More trees! More plants! There might even be more poison ivy.

In other words, the biosphere REBALANCES ITSELF!
And you guys call yourselves scientists!
We all learned that in Sister Helen Ann’s class in the
third grade.

Even the secular elementary schools taught this. Before they got caught up in the eeeeeeeeevil global warming / climate change fears.

I read another article that said the the planet was greening. Sparse vegetation starting to be thick vegetation, deserts shrinking as grasslands advance. More grazing land, more food production, more habitat for more animal species... The horrors of global warming just don’t stop.

So there's PROOF that it's benefiting the planet, but only SPECULATION that it may cause harm.
And this passes for "science?"

The greenies get upset when actual green increases on the earth by its own accord. “Gaia” might not need their help after all, she might be competent on her own!
Oh, to be like teats on a boar.

They’re so used to thinking of “climate change” as cause rather than as effect of something major happening external to the earth.

IIRC, our plantings out west are part of the cause of their catastophic fires. Nature had kept it cleaned out.
And in the east, I believe the rule was....cut one down...plant 2. The forests of the east are 3 times what they were c 1750.

new study
One of the first things you learn in plant science is that plants are c02 starved. Lack of c02 is limiting plant growth.

They don’t teach systems anymore. They are experts in details of one or two things.
Systems are complex and hard to understand and control and it leads to answers like God.

This is known as the balance of nature, or the carbon cycle. Plants use the CO2 and release oxygen. Animals reverse the equation.
So all the crap about excess CO2 is just hot air.
