Had I had a camera with me, there was one particular scene that I would have loved to capture. It was at Sarasota, after the rally was over, in the parking area.
I watched a VERY elderly couple make their way along the fence... the woman used a walker and the man used a cane... they walked very slowly along the fence to get to a spot where they could watch Mr. Trump's copter lift off...
They were clinging to the fence.... waiting and waiting... I didn't go up to speak to them (wish that I did in hindsight), but I could tell from their body language throughout... they had been "waiting" for Mr. Trump to come onto the scene for quite a long time.... they were delighted (as so many of us are!) that he is here NOW.... and they are grateful to be able to cast what may be one of their last few votes for a man like Mr. Trump...
That's what I saw and felt from them.... maybe not having a camera was a good thing... perhaps I could not have captured all of that in an image or two?
Here is the (blurry!) crowd in Tampa:
OMG! What a fabulous picture! What a crowd!!!!
Any pics of you??
For me it was the school for deaf (found out they volunteered ) and their fellow veterans “listening” together to his speak. They ( both those who could and those who couldn’t hear)never lost eye contact during the “education”. parts... The quietest and the loudest group I have ever seen. Those men love him. It was written on their faces Trump will be a remarkable CIC
Wow
