I wonder where Stormy is now?
I’m sure the poor lil thing was hungry too. I never saw Momma or Dad deliver food last night.
It’ll be a while yet before either owlet is able to kill their own food. The parents will take food to them for a few more weeks.
The cam op did a scan of the area this afternoon looking for Stormy but had no luck. I know Stormy was in the nest tree last night because I could hear him/her chirping for a while. Might still be up there and Windy with him/her now.
Watching the hawks at the moment. The third hawklet is in the process of hatching and I hope to get a first glimpse “live” this time. Big Red has nest duty tonight and she’s very restless due to the activity beneath her. Sure wish she’d stand up!
