Donald J. Trump said Thursday that transgender people should be allowed to use whatever bathroom they feel most comfortable with — including at Trump Tower in New York.
Dipping into a contentious issue by taking a stand many Republicans oppose, Mr. Trump told a town-hall-style event, hosted by NBC’s “Today” show at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, that when people go to the restroom, they should “use the bathroom they feel is appropriate.”
Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential front-runner, was responding to a question about a bill that North Carolina’s governor signed into law last month that bars individuals in the state from using public bathrooms that don’t correspond to their biological sex — the one listed on their birth certificate. Since then, there has been a backlash from businesses and celebrities opposed to the state’s action. And transgender issues have pitted social conservatives against business interests that traditionally have been part of the Republican coalition in the South and elsewhere.
“North Carolina did something — it was very strong — and they’re paying a big price,” Mr. Trump said. “And there’s a lot of problems. And I heard — one of the best answers I heard was from a commentator yesterday saying, leave it the way it is, right now.”
He added that before the law passed, there had been “very few problems” but now North Carolina is experiencing an exodus of businesses and “strife” from people on both sides of the issue.
“You leave it the way it is,” he said. “There have been very few complaints the way it is.”
North Carolina’s law, which also removed anti-discrimination protections for L.G.B.T. people, and the backlash to it, is now at the heart of the state’s hotly contested governor’s race.

Does it happen? Sure, but it’s very rare. Mostly, Lesbians don’t care much for kids. As sexual objects or otherwise.

I did notice on your profile page scriptural versus from the bible. I assumed you believed God's word. My reading of scripture tells me these things are evil and against God's will. Transgenderism being a satanic deception. It is a security threat to children not simply because they are dressed as a woman, it is because of emotional instability.

If a transgender who is in drag wearing make up and goes to the ladies room and sits down to pee, who would ever know? No doubt they have done it since the flush toilet had been invented.
what would cause a stir is a man in drag going into the mens room!
same goes for a butch female going in the mens room, although it would have to use a stall to pee in.

We don't need any new laws either banning or allowing anyone
If you are transgender and pass for female (or male) no one will know one way or another so no problem
If you don't or if you are disruptive or dangerous then existing laws protect women
The whole issue is a made up PR stunt and power grab the left is trying to ram down our throats to solve a non existent problem
Just leave things the way they are. Most public places have alternate private rest rooms used for changing diapers and such which solves the issue
If it's an issue, it's like way way down the list of priorities, so low that no one would notice it if GOPers trying to gaslight on social issues didn't pass a law against it.

Trust me, I'm a bigger extremist than even you. But there are issues that are important-- like TPP, the collapse of the country, world war 3, and then there is a fight over bathrooms being used by GOPers who just want to screw us over.
If you want to vote for a liberal in November, please do so. For me, I can guarantee you, there are plenty of people like me, who will not. We will either not vote, write-in or vote for Hillary. But I do not want a social liberal pretending to be something different in the White House. I will do all I can to make sure T**** will never become president. When he loses in November, we can start to rebuild the republican party. I am waiting for 2020.
This web site and posters show you how far we have fallen. Can you imagine the number of posters that would have approved of T****'s comments a mere 4 years ago. Now they are everywhere here just shrugging their shoulders and urging us to get over it and it's not a big deal.

There were no regulations until a Charlotte municipal ordinance that allowed transgender individuals to use any restroom they wanted, regardless of whether it was designated for men or for women.
The bill overrides the city’s ordinance and prevents other cities in North Carolina from imposing similar measures.
Your argument then becomes government should not be in the business of determining whether or not a man wants to go to a woman’s bathroom and should not be passing a law preventing that.
Well, may I ask you respectfully, such a common sense law was not necessary in the first place. Why did Charlotte pass a law ALLOWING Transgenders to go to women’s bathrooms in the first place?
If it is one job of the government, it is to protect its citizenry from harm. The purpose of HB2 is to ensure that people, especially women and children but men as well, can use public restrooms, locker rooms, and changing areas without being exposed to people of the opposite biological sex. It’s pretty common sense.
If you want government out of your knickers, then don’t insist on men with different knickers violate what society has recognized and adhered to since the founding of this nation.
They are already using the restroom of their choice and most of us don’t know it...If a fake female (really male) uses the womens room, obviously he has to use a stall....if a fake male (really female) uses a mens room, she also has to use a stall.....probably can’t handle a urinal. Since they both use stalls, who cares???....locker rooms and shower facilities are obviously different situations and should be strictly assigned for those with a penis and those without one.
When was the last time that you were in a men's room at a store, school, sporting event, etc....when there was a staff member present to enforce whatever rules that existed.....doesn't happen.
When was the last time you saw a bonafide Tranny walking into the bathroom. They're literally less than 1 percent of the entire population.
They probably have been for years....they're in stalls, private stalls, who knows who is what....
Men's rooms, with urinals are different and a lot more happens with others watching than in a woman's room.
Of course they aren't under parental supervision at all times, however, there is SELDOM a person in authority there either. There have probably been wierdos in our restrooms for years, men dressed as women and vice-versa...in schools and such places, maybe it could be controlled....in public restrooms....never.

If you are Transgender and you have male plumbing, don’t tell government to pass laws to change anything. If you need to go to the bathroom, go to the bathroom of your choice without telling the world what kind of person you are.
How’s that? why do you have to advertise your orientation to the whole world and tell government to get involved justifying it?
But they’re not happy with the status quo, they have to pass a law that now opens the door for fake transgenders out there and every sick voyeur to go to the bathroom of the opposite sex.
If you don’t want more government regulation, then don’t pass any new unnecessary laws that will now require others to demand a law protecting their children from potential predators.
