Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)said Wednesday morning that a contested Republican convention is certain and that supporters of Donald Trump are ultimately helping Hillary Clinton reach the White House.
During a radio interview for a Philadelphia morning show, Cruz predicted with certainty that the Republican Party is headed to a contested convention. He suggests Trump supporters might as well put a Hillary sticker on your car.

More of the same silliness, that I commented on in #61. You cannot simply ignore the whole prospect of a campaign that has not yet started. There are ways to correct the problem—clearly effective ways to correct the problem.

That’s the perfect attitude. Put America First!
Cruz needs to be constructive rather than destructive for America.
With that in mind, how could I trust Ted to ever put America’s interest above his own. He is not a team player.
I think by that time, people will have woken up to his cry-baby tactics. And we don’t need Hillary II as the next 1st Lady either. Go home, Teddy.
Bottom line: The electorate is no longer Conservative enough to accept a candidate like Cruz anymore. Sad but true.
You could say that about the majority of voters inside of FR dont care about Cruzs conservative Constitutionalism.
Ok, I just said it. That's ok, most elections boil down to personality contests, not issues.
After Trump’s NY win, Cruz now officially can’t clinch with pledged delegates
Donald Trump just made it impossible for Ted Cruz to clinch the GOP nomination.
Results in New York’s primary mean it is now mathematically impossible for Cruz to clinch nomination based on pledged delegates.
From Washington Post:
In order to maintain the slim, infinitesimal hope that he might be able to clinch the Republican nomination by winning pledged delegates, Ted Cruz needed to win at least a handful of delegates in New York. He didnt. He now joins John Kasich (and every other Republican who once ran) in the category of people who cant clinch the nomination on pledged delegates. Of the 17 Republicans that started the race, only one candidate isnt in that box: Donald Trump.
Trumps challenge hasn’t been Kasich or Cruz for a while; hes battling against 1,237, the number of pledged delegates he needs to clinch before the convention. And in that race, every delegate counts.

According to RCP, Cruz’s fav/unfav avg. is 33/54, so what’s your point?
This and the Freepathon. Oh. And the 100th story about Trump winning New York.
devastaTed!!!
emasculaTed!!!
He is still going to win! Get used to it! ;-)
Hey Ted, eff off hoser.
I hope GOPe is paying Ted off well because his political career is toast at this point.
His last radio interview with Hannity clearly convinced me he is not the man he purports to be, nor the one that I supported all through 2015 when I realized “something is very, very wrong here” and moved to Trump. Back at that time, I called it an epiphany of sorts. It actually was a personal revelation that meant I’d been a complete GOP drone idiot believing they actually had the same values as me.
Frankly, it was personally, privately humiliating for me to be confronted with that reality.
Hillary? I really, really, didn't know she has wanted to build a wall since 2012.
This place has been anti-Cruz smear central, but that is just one step too far.
Ah, yes. Mass transit - yet another conservative Trump NY value. /sarc
Incredible weaknesses like an unknown just-born Senator from Illinois?
Trump’s not an unknown. The general public has seen Trump and decided they don’t like what they see. Denying this fact isn’t going to save him. He’s more disliked than Hillary. Can he turn that around? That’s up to him and how he conducts himself in the general but it isn’t going to get turned around with quoting 1980 polls that are not applicable to today or people telling themselves all the polls are wrong and the American people really love Trump and can’t wait to vote for him
My hunch is the Trump behaviors will continue. But we’ll see
Also lemme guess, he’s gonna do anything different that what the same globalist masters who handle Hillary tell him to do?
“Who ever told him that he’s “the smartest guy in the room” should reevaluate”

Cruz is never the smartest guy in the room. Not even when alone.
