Donald Trump attacked Texas Sen. Ted Cruz during a sizeable Monday rally in Buffalo, New York, in what was his last major campaign event before the state votes in a consequential primary Tuesday.

"Lyin' Ted Cruz, one of the great liars of all time," Trump referred to his top rival for the Republican presidential nomination.

With polls showing him maintaining a gigantic lead in his home state, he appeared to be attempting to run up the score, suggesting that Cruz "hates New York."

Do you understand the mechanism behind party primaries? It never was strictly a "most votes wins" proposition.

Was corrupted right from the start wasn't it!!! Designed to keep people out regardless of the desires of the electorate...

What makes it even worse is the power brokers have set up the two parties that no 3rd party competition is really possible...

The two parties are owned and operated by America hating New World Order globalists...And talk about being dumbed down, the Cruz, Bush, Kasich, Hillary and Bernie supporters have been sucked into the cesspool and apparently don't even know it, all the way down to the local level...

Seriously, does *anyone* really think that Cruz is “one of the great liars of all time”?

Seriously, does *anyone* really think Cruz “hates New York”?

This disingenuous hyperbole is exhausting.

But he lies so much...

As a former pollster who has worked with many political campaigns, I know firsthand that there is a lot of dishonesty in politics, both by politicians and by staff with and without the politician's approval. I do not believe a politician can completely eliminate dishonesty in a large campaign, although some do better than others, nor do I automatically attribute inaccuracies to dishonesty (and I use the same standards for both Trump and Cruz in that respect).

As one example, Trump said today that, "Cruz hates New York". We all know Cruz did not say that, and that Cruz doesn't actually hate New York, but that sort of statement is standard political practice. It's not literally true, but it means "remember what Cruz said about New York values, I want you to think he meant that he hates New York too". I wouldn't call Trump a liar for saying it, but it was not truthful either.

Since you say Cruz lies a lot, I'd like to know. What are ten big lies by Cruz that do not involve Donald Trump? That shouldn't be hard, not if Cruz lies a lot, should it? I will next Tuesday be a Trump voter, but I also like Ted Cruz. I seriously would like to know what a Cruz critic thinks his worst lies are.

Restriction on this request: Lies. By Cruz. So his staff repeating an inaccurate CNN report on Carson suspending his campaign is not a Cruz lie.

Yes- from Jefferson - to Jackson - to Lincoln and beyond....life isn't fair.

Rail against the "evil, crooked Cruz" all you like - he didn't design it, he's just working within the existing parameters.
Life isn't fair - so you just make the best of it.
If you take it personal - you may just end up like a Trump Zombie....

You asked for one I gave you one, there plenty more out there you can use google to find some more. Cruzs’ entire campaign strategy is to steal Trumps’ issue and to personally attack Trump 24/7. Cruz is doing the GOPe dirty since Cruz is owned by the GOPe.

not really..... Cruz was for building a wall long before Trump came onto the scene..Trump did make it a major issue.

Cruz has rarely attacked Trump personally...he has attacked the frontrunner on the issues and Trumps previous stances...which Trump coined the phrase lyin Ted.

your last sentence is just silly

“Give us an example of cruzs personal attack on trump.....it has to be personal and it has to come from Cruz”

Just for a start:

He said, with his own voice and mouth, that the violence in Chicago was Trump’s fault, siding with Black Lives Matter, Move On, Soros, etc.

He implied, with his own voice and mouth, that Trump’s values are bad (”New York values).

In March, he blamed Trump for the terrorist attacks in Belgium.

April 19 on Hannity, Cruz called Trump, “stupid”.

Trump couldn’t run a lemonade stand. (He’s been so unsuccessful

About 20 years ago we were kidding around at work, and my friend and I were talking about voting that day. A Dem (dim bulb) said she hadn’t voted. We told her, “Republicans vote today, and Democrats vote tomorrow.” She believed us. We had to tell the truth — reluctantly.

Well I knew better. There are only two polling places in our area. At least four of us voted for Cruz.

Very important for my wife to have voted for Cruz/Carly ( she likes Carly).

This is the only chance I have to get her to vote for Trump should that end up being the scenario.

She despises Trump with the fooling around and Three trophy wives.

Even though she agree with 95% + of his policy positions.

None of those are personal except the stupid remark...I have doubts that was said.

How can those things not be considered “personal”?

You doubt the “stupid” remark? There are many links to the audio clip.
