YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS! CRUZ SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT COUP AT EAGLE FORUM!

Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.

Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.

On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.

But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum – or her family – agreed with Phyllis Schlafly’s decision.

Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.

Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.

They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.

This email was sent out Monday afternoon.

St. Louis, Missouri:

“At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.

“The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.

“This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.”

This is a developing story—-

Kudos, Race, for culling all of these examples from a man who has no respect for truth.

I am currently going door-to-door here in Pennsylvania on Cruz's behalf, and have been both uplifted and depressed at some of the conversations I have had with local voters.

I printed out your list yesterday and presented it to a few people tonight, just to see what kind of reaction it would engender. Most were impressed and in agreement with your (and my) support of Cruz, but one woman perused the list and remarked, 'In spite of this, I can't vote for Cruz. His voice reminds me too much of my ex-husband's.'

No, she was not joking. Nor was she simply attempting to get a rise out of me. She was entirely serious, and was unknowingly exhibiting the depth, and critical thinking ability, of so many members of the modern American electorate, which goes a long way toward explaining the Trump phenomenon.

If the board members are acting according to their bylaws it’s not a “coup”.

They were not acting according to the bylaws, hence it was a coup.

It’s how lawful people wrest control from the unlawful. It is how unlawful Cruz minions attempt to wrest control from the lawful members.

I would say a pox upon them, yet their incorporeal decrepitude is already a pox.

Maybe she recognized something in the tone of his voice like lying and the need to control.

Trump is not a Hillary supported he was just doing what many business people sometimes must do which is to support candidates in both parties to keep on their good side. If you were honest you have to admit that you know many businesses who do this routinely. Trump has also donated to Republicans.

no, most businessmen do not send tens of thousands of dollars to Hillary and tell people she would make a great senator, make a great secretary of state, make a great president, and then tell you they were a republican all along, while the same time donating to Harry Reid, nancy peolsi, rahm emmanuel

you guys are so vapor locked, you refuse the truth, you are worse than democrats, you really are

He gave to Republicans as well and what I said about businesses giving to politicians of both parties is well known. Do you not know of any businesses that gave to both parties?

While you are talking about Trump’s tangential relationship to the Clintons, what about Cruz’s working for Bush in Washington DC and Heidi working for the Bush administration under Condoleeza Rice and her high level job at globalist bank Goldman Sachs? And her work at the Council on Foreign Relations which has been around since the 1920’s and has brazenly advocated for a one world government since that time? How about her work on the North American Union? You can’t possibly be that blind.

Family values like Raphael Cruz’s bigamy? What sort of values did Ted learn from his father?

Defrauding an old woman in her nineties! A woman who has done so much for this country. Cruz cannot say he is a Christian.

What troubles me deeply about Trump is his past enormous financial support of far left candidates and policies (some of that support being doled out very recently).

Ted Cruz attempted to point out the frightening interpretations of that 'generosity' to Bill O'Reilly last week ... to no avail, of course.

I have a lot of conservative friends who are in business, several of whom own thriving local businesses. Needless to say, their business ventures are not anywhere near as massive, or profit-producing, as Donald Trump's, but I know, without a doubt, that, even if their businesses would benefit greatly if they donated to political candidates such as Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, the Gang of Eight, etc., they would never open their checkbooks for such a purpose ... simply because they have deeply-held personal convictions, and strong beliefs regarding the legitimate (limited) role of government.

It's called being able to look at the big picture, and refusing to fund the purposeful destruction of both individual and economic liberty vs. lining one's own pockets. My good friends who are in business for themselves would always embrace the former. Donald Trump appears to often opt for the latter, and I am sick and tired of hearing the excuses that 'he did so as a businessman', or 'he also contributed to conservative candidates and causes'. Both excuses simply reflect the fact that he has no core political beliefs to which he is willing to hold fast. I don't care under what guise he contributed to the rise and increased power of leftists bent on re-writing the American vision. Doing so simply reveals the shallowness of his character and his insatiable desire for personal wealth and power. Such a man, who would sell his soul in order to increase his profits, does not deserve to be leader of the free world, because he is willing to place other people's freedoms in jeopardy because he himself worships at the altar of the almighty dollar.

Thank you very much, I do respect your opinion but I think Trump is the better candidate and I just do not trust Ted. He is hiding very much and his background is very disturbing.
