Ted Cruz's and Marco Rubio's supporters have teamed up in Arkansas to pack the state delegation with individuals who'll turn against Donald Trump in a contested convention.
Since Rubio ended his presidential bid March 15, his network of party insiders has lined up behind Cruz to win delegates who'd vote for the Texas senator once they're no longer bound to Trump in a floor fight. Trump won Arkansas' GOP primary March 1 with 32.8 percent of the vote compared to Cruz's 30.5 percent and Rubio's 24.9 percent. But Cruz's canny operatives, with Rubio riding shotgun, is likely to thwart Trump in the delegate election.

Sounds wonderful. Like it will benefit the country so well. After all the railing for years about the “Washington Cartel”, he is actually a card carrying member.
How do you figure that? Cruz + Rubio numbers trump Trump's numbers. It's all about delegate numbers based on votes, NOT who won or lost. ONLY in winner take all does it matter. Since Trump has only one or two winner take all wins, he can't claim a true "win"

The gopE can’t stand the thought of Trump upsetting their scam so they used Cruz to stop him. Of course, they figure they can stop Cruz after he helps them stop Trump. It’s going to be funny if this blows up in their faces and Cruz outsmarts them and gets the nomination. I
won’t vote for him but it would still bring a smile to my face to think about the gope getting together and pointing at each other asking “Whose bright idea was it to help Cruz beat Trump?”

No shenanigans changes the fact they're bound for Trump on the first ballot, and it won't go to a second.

He has been a card carrying member his whole life. He ran for senate so he could say all the “tea party” things and make sure no other REAL conservative got the attention. Then when it’s safe to turn and those who’ve supported him have no one else to turn to, and, they’re too embarrassed to admit they’ve been had, he pulls out his gopE card and they all get together and have a drink and talk about how stupid the voters are.
Some have wised up. But not nearly enough.
But when Trump and Kasich teamed up in Michigan to take delegates for Cruz it was good.
When is this filthy cheating cruz going to fully understand that we don't like him, we don't want him and that he should GTFO and go away!

Cruz is rapidly becoming the most despised republican politician in America. He is a liar, corrupt to the core and as dirty as can be.
They realize that nobody likes their dinosaurs like Kasich or Rube-o, so they switched to someone who had a history of actual conservatism. Too bad Cruz is willing to give up his record and start appeasing GOP-e vermin just to win the nomination this year.
If Cruz didn’t try to backstab Trump, he almost certainly would have won the nomination in 2020 or 2024. Now his political career will likely never advance beyond Senator, and his soul is likely on the path to eternal damnation.
