What did they think would happen? Number two is not the winner.

Giving Trump the nomination will crush the GOP also. So at this point who cares.

The fall out will be brutal for house, senate, state, and local level elections if the establishment continues the scorched earth policy.

What the leadership of the Republican Party doesn't understand is that the “rank & file” hate the leadership.

Look at the how frustrated the Tea Party was. Look at the political fight that removed Boehner from House Speaker. Look at how people hated the idea of Bob Dole, John McCain, and even Mitt Romney at Presidential candidates.

People, who identify as Republicans, and who are not aligned with the leadership of the Part are in the majority and want change...........no THEY DEMAND CHANGE.

This is not surprising.

You don’t get it...the GOP-e doesn’t WANT to win. They want to go back to the glorious days of when they were a 160 seat minority, might get a chance to play golf with the President, and didn’t have to make any decisions, except what kind of martini to drink at the 19th hole or which Asian Ladyboy to see that night.

Just for you folks in Rio Linda following along: here is an example from this poll.

Trump won my state Florida with 1.1 million votes.

This poll projects 30% or roughly 300,000 of them will not vote GOP in November.

The kenyan won Florida by 80,000 votes in 2012.

It doesn’t take a math PH.D. to see where the general election is headed if the nom is stolen from Trump.

Additionally, there is an open Senate seat in FL. Does Ted Cruz really want to gift wrap the Senate for Harry Reid as a going away present? Apparently so.

I will go to the Trump rally in Buffalo next Sunday. (Even though it is my 45th Anniversary). I will vote for Trump in the Primary on the 19th. I will send in my reregistration from Republican to unaffiliated on the 20th.

GOP is screwed either way. If Trump is nominated, most Cruz supporters wull not vote for him. If Cruz is nominated, most Trump supporters are not going vote for him. If an alternative establishment candidate is nominated, Trump and Cruz supporters stay home.

Trump will run independent and I will support him along with tens of millions of others. The GOP can then enjoy watching itself lose while winning only Utah and (maybe) Texas... and hopefully enjoy a well-deserved relegation to the ash heap of history.

I’ve been voting (Republican) since 1972. Still, if this nomination is stolen from Trump, then I’ll just stop voting until the situation is rectified. I could never bring myself to vote for any of the drek the Dimocratz put up.

The truth is the number of GOP voters who are already done with the gopE party is larger than this poll suggests. Trump is the only fix, the only hope .... the gopE is done.

Teb the snake Cruz is the answer to nothing unless you want Hillary as prez and the Democrats running everything for a long time into the forsee able future.

Anyone who thinks the gopE survives backstabbing Trump, or The Snake is going to be President is too stupid to even lsten to.

Cruz is either insane or a Democrat plant. Ryan and Teb are the death of any hope of turning this country around from the socialists and their plans to make us into Europe II.

“Reuters poll, one third of Republican voters who support Donald Trump could turn their backs on their party in November’s presidential election if he is denied the nomination in a contested convention.”

I would guess that at least 1/3 of Trump’s supporters were not active Republicans last election.

The GOPe knows it will lose if it dumps Trump. That’s actually their plan: to lose. Because at least that way they get to keep a little seat at the power table; if Trump wins the Presidency, the GOPe and its power brokers won’t get shite.
