A very good point. In fact, would Ted Cruz have been eligible to run for Prime Minister of Canada had he not renounced his Canadian citizenship in 2014 two years after he lied (either deliberately or by omission) to the voters of Texas about his being a Canadian-Texan when seeking their votes to get to the U.S. Senate? Imagine, a Cuban-Canadian anchor baby, gets elected to the U.S. Senate, and then runs for the Conservative Party to be the successor to Stephen Harper as Prime Minister? Only in Cruznadia!!
