Rolling Plunder – How Scott Walker and Paul Ryan Plan To Sell Out Wisconsin, and the Voters...

"Rolling Plunder – How Scott Walker and Paul Ryan Plan To Sell Out Wisconsin, and the Voters are Oblivious…" Wise Up and Rise Up Wisconsin

Well, given Paul Ryan’s full-throated endorsement and promotion for the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal (TPP), perhaps the Wisconsin working voter would like to see exactly what they have in mind for you. Remember, each of the aforementioned has also endorsed Senator Ted Cruz – who, not coincidentally, was the co-author of the Trade Promotion Authority bill (TPA) which was the vehicle to insure TPP’s passage.

Rather than go through all of the tentacles, and difficult to understand TPP construct, let’s instead use that wonderful Scott Walker (Harley Davidson motorcycle) example to show Wisconsin voters what’s really going on.

Representative Paul Ryan and Senator Ted Cruz created the legislative vehicle for The Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership, or TPP. The legislative vehicle for TPP is called Trade Promotion Authority, or TPA.

Both Ryan and Cruz were actually quite proud of TPA, until candidate Donald Trump made a campaign issue of the trade deal. Senator Cruz now claims he doesn’t support TPP.

I’ll take a Harley over one of those rice eating Kamakasuki’s any day.

I don't ride, but I understand that Harleys don't come cheap. Not everyone who wants to ride a motorcycle can afford a Harley.

Only legally registered voters should be allowed to finance political campaigns and only in modest amounts that average people can afford per year and only for campaigns that they can vote for. Make the politicians beholden to those they claim to represent and not some money bags.

It is surprising when one reads stuff, like in the Federalist papers, and other writings, as to just how much on the ball, the Founding Fathers were. For example, the writings about the right to bear arms as being relevant to the debate today about self-defense vs militia vs hunting.

It is even more surprising how little has changed in 2,000 years, the Romans for example could speak to our time; two of my favorite Romans are Cicero and Tacitus:

Marcus Tullius Cicero: “Politicians are not born; they are excreted”

Tacitus: :”Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges.”
(The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the government.)

Exellent point and the RINO’s that bash Trump should take note of this

Another relevant quote by Cicero, relevant considering the globalist and free-trader politicians in America:

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

Perhaps. A Dr. Seuss book in the wings?

“The Cat Shat in the RINO’s Hat”

Sounds like a good working title.

Walker has lower approval ratings than Obama in Wisconsin. He is not Wisconsin. In fact, most people in Wisconsin hate his guts.

Well, this is just false.

As to the subject of the OP, Harley supports the TPP.

geez Bray, at least get your facts straight.
Cruz voted against TPA (yes he had previously supported it with the requirements in the bill until Boner/McConnell gutted it in backroom dealing) in May 2015, but it passed the Senate with 40+ Repub Senators joining with Dems, but NOT Cruz, in JUne.
Cruz is opposed to the TPP sell out and has stated the lame duck Congress should not vote on the issue.

...are you aware that the big bad Goldman Heidi is a Wealth Manager not an evil Banker? That’s like being a Merrill broker for God’s sake. And no, brokers don’t lose jobs over husband’s voting records, but you knew that....

ymmv

I love those quotes from long ago.

In terms of wisdom we haven’t evolved at all from thousands of years ago.

New ones are always way too overpriced, because most don't know how to, or don't want to wrench.

There are excellent deals on used bikes, they are all a gas to ride, old and new.

I was not aware trump supporters wanted facts.

Is this a new development?

Irrelvant, immaterial and off topic (like most of your posts).

As I said in #8, try refuting the facts from the article instead of just mewling away like the Cruz-kitty you are?
