It is complete and utter lies is not a denial?
Nope not to the issues. What is “it”? Fact is in a deposition or on the stand that would call for a directed answer.
Hes a lawyer. The issue is having affairs with women not his wife. A Denial would address the issue not force the listener to assume or fill in info. You have to add in your mind to get hes denying all the allegations.
Oh and BTW he lied. The NE said he was being investigated for the affairs. Fact is he was being investigated for them by the Rubio Camp. So he lied about it being a lie.
No because Cruz did not terminate the allegations and actually left it with an open ended response. A perfectly innocent individual would likely say, “I have never been unfaithful to my wife”. Considering Cruz is supposed to be a Harvard debate team super brain and all, this would have closed the discussion from his stand point. Or repeat as necessary.
There are folks out there that look at these things like vague open ended responses. Trust me.
It is complete and utter lies is not a denial?
People her what they want to hear. My mom taught me that a good 50 years ago.
Not to some of the Trump supporters, sadly. I would hope that some still have a healthy dose of skepticism about any and all such rumors and innuendo, just as we all should have about any candidate.
Why did he not say “I have never cheated on my wife”? The story has been around for many months and I, for one, believe that something is amiss in the Cruz household.
It is complete and utter lies is not a denial?

The point is, a denial of WHAT.
Some folks don’t understand the logical problem.
No, it’s not. It’s lawyer speak. He is saying that “the story” as printed by the National Enquirer is completely wrong.
That is not the same as saying, “I have never cheated on my wife.”
Clinton said, “I did not have sex with that woman...” He meant copulate. They did have oral sex. (I personally believe more, but that’s beside the point.)
It was a clever dodge based on differing definitions.
