you are absolutely right. they simply cannot. they revert to what others have said/done to excuse ANYTHING he says or does. it is maddening.
There’s a few Trump supporters who know his behaviors are unpresidential and are starting to worry about this continuing during the general election.
I don’t speak of them when I talk about the Amen Hallelujah Trump echo chamber who are convinced a 50 state landslide awaits and the American people are all on a spring just waiting for Nov to vote for him all evidence to the contrary be damned.
That's what cult followers do..... they ‘cannot see’ Trump as he is rather what they want him to be....and he gives them enough to ‘imagine’ he's all of that in the form of manipulation,... emotionally, mentally, visually and with verbiage that tickles their ears exactly as they want to hear. All which appeals to the “senses”.
