With more of a whimper than a bang, the 2012 GOP nominee has made his preference clear. As POLITICO’s Nolan D. McCaskill reports MITT ROMNEY declared he would be caucusing for TED CRUZ on Tuesday in Utah’s primary — an endorsement, of sorts.
The former Massachusetts governor said he believes no one will win the nomination outright by accruing the necessary 1,237 delegates, which would lead to multiple ballots at a contested convention. “At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible,” Romney said in a Facebook post.

Romney is setting Cruz up for a brokered convention so he (Romney) can go in as the nominee...it’s the only reason that Mitten is opening his losing mouth...
Don’t forget about the Bush Family Backing, Poppy Bush wants a Bush Dynsty and is doing everything to get Jeb (!) back in the convention...

Cruz is begging to be used by the #nevertrump bunch. Even Romney, in his statement, acknowledged that Cruz couldn’t win 1237, he’s only being used to get to an open convention. If Cruz thinks that he’ll be rewarded with the nomination for doing the establishment’s dirty work for them, he’s more delusional than I thought. They’ll dump him, and finagle Romney or Ryan or Jeb as the nominee. That will cause an uproar, and probably lead to a resounding defeat in November, but the neo-con artists and their open borders toadies don’t care. They’re way out there on the left, and they’d be perfectly comfortable with Clinton.

No doubt. The plan is to keep DT from getting the 1237 by any means necessary, then bypassing both him AND Cruz in a contested convention, nominating someone like ...Ryan. And they figure that even if Trump gets pissed and makes an Indie run as a result of all these shenanigans, it could be to their benefit by holding Hillary under the 270 electoral votes required to win the Presidency, after which the GOP-controlled House would elect the President. And neither Trump nor Hillary will be selected in that scenario, obviously.

One would SERIOUSLY HOPE that Cruz will get off his OBSESSION of trying to stop Trump and think about 2018 a bit. It WILL NOT be a cakewalk for him to stay in Senate if he winds up on the wrong side of a Trump tidal wave.
He still has time to save his beautress (a little UN lingo), but not much...he REALLY needs to get himself in good graces with Trump supporters in Texas, but so far, he has shown NO INCLINATION to do so.

The first words out of Romney’s Republican establishment’s mouth was he is endorsing Cruz because Trump is “xenophobic”.
This is code word for not supporting amnesty, code word for wanting to build a wall, code word for insultung the entire Republican base, so ...
That means Cruz will give amnesty, will not build the wall, will let in Syria “refugees” to no end, he gets the Republican establishment nod of approval.
By accepting Romney’s vote and not disavowing the Bush cartel, not disavowing Graham and Romney, these means Cruz is unfit for the nomination, has NO principles, is a POS among POS’s and when hensays “the water is warm here” he means the tub he just jumped in with those who are committing cultural genocide on America and displacing the American worker for cheap labor interests.
Teddy is a very bright boy and as devious as they get. He”s probably working some sort of deal. So long as he is some back bencher in the senate, not much to worry about.
