Hubby just said the same thing. :) And he just said Tuesday will be a fun day!!! I’ll be on the edge of my seat the entire night. Yikes.
Okay, will go ahead and post this here: I leave for the hospital here in about 2 hours to undergo an outpatient test. They are trying to determine the cause of some health issues that I’ve been having. Have been having severe acid reflux that mimics heart conditions. Was violently ill Monday night and ribs still hurt! I’ll be having a tube inserted down my throat to see what is going on in the stomach. They have a name for this test but for the life of me I can’t it. Will be spacey for remainder of day/evening. But plan to catch up on the Trump thread once I can focus! Please throw in a few GO Trumps!! for me. LOL.
Prayers for your health, navymom! God bless.
God bless you! Hope the tests turn out well.
If they haven’t done so yet, have them test for Celiac (I think it can be done via a simple blood test). My sister thought she had acid reflux or worse for some time and was finally diagnosed with Celiac.
Will be thinking of you today and praying for good test results and for your comfort and healing.
Good luck with the tests. God’s speed.
My prayers belong to you!
At least you’ll know the cause of your discomfort and illness.
90% of cure is correct diagnosis. Pray they find what is causing it and don’t just treat symptoms
You are in my thoughts and prayers today!
Don’t rule out gall bladder.
It took doctors 30 years to correctly diagnose that for Mrs. Balding_Eagle. Thirty years of unpredictable vomiting and diarrhea.
Her symptoms were similar to yours, by the sounds of things.
Turned out to be a 1” gall stone.
Best Wishes navymom. Hope all turns out well for you :) Go Trump!!
Hope it went well and they get a diagnosis. I’ve heard endoscopy is nothing. Hope that was your experience too. Prayers.
We had a friend (now deceased) who suffered like this for years. The tests repeatedly showed nothing wrong. He kept telling the docs that it was a stone in the gall bladder, and they kept telling him the tests show there are NO stones.
Finally, he was so weak, he said, “Well, you just go on in there and see what you find, I guarantee you it’s a g.b. stone”.
They did the surgery and found a huge g.b. stone in a portion of the g.b. tubing or entrance, or whatever, can’t remember now, but it is the one place that their machines can’t capture, for some reason. Anyway, they took out the stone and all his symptoms vanished.
For whatever it’s worth...........
