We, the people, can/t sit back and let the GOPeers get away with this. Somehow we have to tie their hands......and make it painful for them to continue on this course.

One way might be to mobilize the Bank Secrecy Act——to determine where they/re getting the money to do this.

Another way is to examine whether they raised money for one purpose then diverted it to this purpose.

That would be considered electronic/mail fraud....and/or money laundering.

If the establishment were to deny Trump the spot in Cleveland and hand it to Rubio, would that be considered a ‘Brokeback’ Convention?

If they deny him the nomination when he has the votes and delegates then we will know for damn sure the GOP has been completely overtake by Democrat operatives whose only intention has been for Hillary to win.

I don’t want anything to do with the GOP, wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire. Hey, there’s a good idea. I’ll write Trump’s name in if I have to.

I have no doubt ROMNEY thinks he has a shot. I am telling you there no way in hell the rank and file who run the GOP are going to allow this to happen.

You would have whole state delegations walk out of the Convention. Georgia for one is not going to put up with any of this clown crap. We going to make dam sure our delegate know full well that doing anything like that is a career ending move back home.

This is the thing the political pundits and the Dc Media consultants always forget. They continually forget it goes beyond just winning a transit political advantage. You got to live with us afterwards. They can be hard headed some time, they are not politically suicidal. Beyond their own careers, these people really do not have any principals. They may kick up their heels but in the end they will do as they are told by the Party.

There is a lot of anger in the party machine at the local, county and state level at DC. It not just the voters who are angry.

If this happens, I will go down to GOP HQ and burn my registration card in protest. Then I’ll get to work on 3rd (2nd?) party campaign.

At this point, what’s worse, a GOP establishment candidate who lies after he gets elected or SWMNBN, who lies all the time?

I say let the RNC/GOPe do what they will, and let the chips fall where they may.

Everything needs to be dismantled and rebuilt anyway. May as well get on with it.

Rush is right -- there would be a rebellion, but so what? There are rules for how many votes you need to win the nomination, and if Trump doesn't have them, he have no "right" to be nominated.

The votes of the people who affirmatively don't like the guy are no less valid than the votes of those who do.

I want to make sure that everyone is one the same page here....

If we go into the convention with Trump having 1100 delegates, Cruz having 800 delegates, Rubio having 300 delegates and the others having 200 delegates...How would it be considered “cheating” or “stealing” to give it to someone other than Trump? The rules were setup well in advance that if nobody reaches 1236 it goes to an open convention. Certainly, Trump’s primary success should be considered by the delegates when choosing their nominee but so too should his behavior on the campaign trail and everything else that goes with it.

As far as I know, the nomination process has NEVER been setup in a way that simply having a plurality of the delegates guarantees a candidate the nomination.

Are you Trump supporters suggesting that we change the rules at the last minute to prevent delegates from voting for anyone other than the candidate with the most delegates?

You people sound like the liberals who want to get rid of the Electoral College because sometimes election results don’t go the way they want.

I am a Cruz guy but if Donald wins by even 1 delegate he should get the nod. Cruz has stated as much as well.

Wait. Just a couple of days ago Rush “let the mask slip” and exposed he was a RINO establishment hack. Now he is a trusted source again?

I can’t keep up with the revisions of the enemies list for Trump supporters. Do you guys keep an updated list posted somewhere?

I know the Trump fanboys will be butt hurt, but if he can't win the nomination outright (because the majority of primary voters voted against him) then a majority of the delegates deciding on a another candidate isn't denying Trump something he won fair and square.

It can only happen if Trump can't win a majority of delegates in the primary. Trump winning 35% of the vote means 65% of the voters didn't want him.

You know, I think Rush is generally a pretty sharp guy, but stating a fact like this and trying to reason with these people ain't gonna get it. That's what they want; they know that if you are trying to talk sense to them that you're not actively doing anything about it.

It's time to give Milt Romley a taste of his own medicine, along with anyone who can be shown to be cahoots with him, (for example, someone in congress who might have been working on the groundwork for this all along, or if there are any GOPe spoiler candidates now actively involved in the primary) and then let the campaign run its course.

I really believe we don’t have much to worry about with GOPers Establishment trying a trick like that, after all, don’t we all know that they always cave when their backs to the wall?

When the crunch time decision comes around, they will start ‘realizing’ that a brokered convention is a really bad idea.

I dislike Trump quite a bit; but no way can this be allowed to happen.
If he gets the most delegates and wins a required majority then he wins the nomination.
The peoples voices will be followed; otherwise this nation is gone for sure.
