Hillary vs. Cruz would be a slam dunk for her. All she has to do is paint him as a religious crazy who hates women, and it’s a done deal.
Then Cruzers can gloat on their principles in the loss and blame it on America for not being True Conservative enough.

Come Novemmber, the entire nation has an open primary. Come September and October the media will go into full trash Trump mode.
Most of the Dems who crossed over in the open primaries will head back home to Hillary.
Meanwhile enough conservatives will sit out.
