A new CNN/ORC national poll (full pdf below) is being highlighted in the media discussion based on the top-line results: Donald Trump 49% !
However, that’s not the real headline in the data. The real lead story should be the damage Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have done to themselves as they continue a scorched-earth campaign.
The first signals of a backlash appeared over the weekend’s polling when it became clear Senator Rubio and Senator Cruz where losing support at an exponential rate the longer they continued to make unfounded accusations. Donald Trump and Ben Carson are benefactors of the Rubio/Cruz kamikaze mission.

Cruz did it to himself as far as I’m concerned, by running an unethical smear campaign.
It showed me a side of him I hadn’t seen before. Huge disappointment.

Several months back, I took that “Which POTUS Candidate Are You Most Like” survey. I matched Cruz at either 90 or 91%.
But Trump’s message combined with the utter mouthbreathing insanity of the Cruzbots, turned me completely off from St. Rafael.

It is quite shocking to see just how many demons Trump is bringing into full view in all of their foul stench.

I’ll be honest when I vote for Trump in Nov it’s only to see how fast you fools will disappear when the wall is not built and there is no deporting, except for criminals which has always happened.
