Well, that’s what I think about it.
But specifically and narrowly, I am only talking about the gambit of HRC chiding Trump for contributing to her foundation. These are sound bite verbal barbs. I think for the most part they disappear in days if not hours. But folks who chide Trump (again, not that I am a supporter) often get their fannies handed to them and I think this would be no exception. HRC is very, very unspontaneous and Trump will blather anything. if Trump’s response is “because you were clearly for sale” then I think that sticks better than most. But will convince nobody of anything. So who cares? There isn’t the mental capacity of the part of the vast majority of the electorate to weigh the consequences of HRCs abysmal performance as SOS and her deliberate violation of National Security Law she explicitly agreed to with “bribing” a politican to get a building built.
The whole process is embarassingly tawdry.
I find it interesting that his seeking personal gain as “a businessman” excuses pretty much every shady thing he has done. Who knew it was such a good excuse to be involved with the slimiest of the slimy and walk away clean - but wealthier...

See post #196. When pollsters drill down to state polls they have less options to manipulate like they do in thin national polls. Cruz is losing Florida by almost double digits to Hillary and Sanders while Trump is the only Republican candidate winning against those two Dems Hillary and Sanders.
Sounds ominous and scary, but you just keep right on believing it, as Trump racks up electoral victories, one after the other. The actual votes are the only polls that really matter, but apparently, they're less important to you than an opinion poll that aligns with your bias.
When it's all over, and Trump is President, you'll always have your precious opinion polls to look back on.
