The Ted Cruz campaign was called out for a very fake photoshop of Marco Rubio last week. This image of Rubio enthusiastically shaking Obama's hand was used on a Cruz campaign landing page.
The Cruz campaign initially denied the photo was fake, which led to an important fact check by the internet. The photoshop feud led to an important competition on Twitter, where users attempted their own Rubio photoshops with stunning accuracy.
You provide such child-like responses. How old are you?
If you are calling an obvious hyperbolic and symbolic picture a lie you are going to have to use that word for every political.. no wait every commercial period.
Wait a minute....I thought this was so obviously photoshopped that only an idiot or a Trump supporter wouldn't see that?
Oh my......
Ted obviously didn’t do the photoshop himself.
It’s this part;
“The Cruz campaign initially denied the photo was fake, which led to an important fact check by the internet.”
Who is the Cruz campaign? Why would they deny the photo was fake when they shopped it in the first place?
I agree.
Right on!
I had some hope for Cruz, but if his people are going to do things like this, then I have concerns for his ability to make good judgements on who he hires.
I understand there is a bad apple here and there, but after three times, it’s a theme, not an accident.
I just assume stay home.
So your answer is YES, HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT WAS IN THE COMMERCIAL.
If Ted had conspired with Morning Joe and Mika, as Trump was caught exposed to have done now, his campaign would be over by noon.
I thought you said you knew what happens in campaigns. Maybe you don't know what goes on just prior to taping of a talk show.
But I've noticed that other sites have not even picked it up yet! Are you surprised?
Nah, it's early in the day, and sometimes these things take several days to spread. Even here on FR, there's a morning shift, lunch shift, afternoon shift, evening shift, and midnight shift of repeats of the articles of the day. This is at least the second time I have seen a similar article posted here on FR.
I still think the whole issue is pointless and unimportant.
No. I called the game before it started. Go back and look at my posts. I’ve been 100% so far. Ted will not be the nominee.
My cousin, who is perhaps one of the smartest people I know, has met Cruz on several occasions. He has told me that Cruz is incredibly smart - brilliant in fact. I don’t think there’s any reason to doubt that. I just think his politics are too far right to be electable.
The average voter is a moron. As opposed to you, a self-righteous above average voter.
did the cruz campaign deny this was a fake? I have a hard time believing that...you can tell it’sa fake in about 1 second
What’s really funny about this whole thing is that the Cruz staff couldn’t find an actual photo of Obama and Rubio shaking hands. I know I haven’t been able to find one, but that means little.
I checked...the cruz campaign always said it was a photoshop...who ever is saying the cruz campaign said it wasn’t is lying
Cruz delegated authority to people to do things that he either approved or did not approve.
If he did approve that makes him not true to the very moral underpinnings he claims for himself, his faith, etc.
If he did not approve, he is simply not a competent manager.
Finally using Beck makes me question his overall judgment.
Are you new here? Or just new to posting?
The common etiquette is you highlight the section of the post you are specifically addressing. Most of your post was just goofy poorly-phrased droning so I picked out the specific phrase I felt like mocking. That's how it works here.
Worse than the photoshopped picture itself were the distortions of Rubio’s record that came along with the picture on that Cruz website.
Have you forgotten that Maobama was elected twice? Yes, the average voter is a moron, and susceptible to false advertising.
“They” is the guy who just got fired.
