Sunday, February 21, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM EST.
I live in LaGrange,GA only 52 miles from the area. I have tickets to attend, but I'm told already that lines are forming for the 4:00pm event.
In our local mall there is a mural size black and white photograph of John Kennedy in a convertible, riding through downtown LaGrange in October 10, 1960 for a campaign stop. At the time, there were roughly 23,000 people living here.
From here they drove to The Little White House, FDR's vaction home, in Warm Spring's, GA where he gave another speech.
Our airport is now bigger, and we have a tad more people, almost 35,000. So, I'll probably skip the Atlanta function today, unless I can hire a "place holder," and instead send an invite, via this posting to the Trump Team to consider LaGrange, GA for a campaign stop, on the way to Fort Benning, in Columbus. If it was good enough for Jack in 1960, it should be good enough for Donald in 2015.
IF ANYONE HAS ANY IN ROADS TO THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN PLEASE LINK THIS NEW THREAD TO THEM. I THANK YOU.

He dresses out of respect for us.
Why do I want my president to look like Paul Bunyan, in senior cut dry cleaned jeans, and a plaid wool shirt starched to the nines?
We finally have a role model back in the WH.
Amazing!
You can bet that they fat checked that story, I did too, and it was dead on accurate.
and that despite his always wearing a bullet-proof vest underneath...
I will also bet that the Secret Service personnel working the Trump detail are treated with much more respect than those unfortunates who draw Hillary duty.
The way I’ve read that Hitlery abuses those who serve her, I think she’s taking a chance having men with guns around her. Could be risky lol.
Yes, that’s been noted here many times I hear.
I can’t wait.... not to go.
I am thinking more and more about just writing in someone in the General. Trump should have Georgia easily, anyway.
Hey!
do we have any boots on the ground in Atlanta?!!!!!!
It is a great morning. I feel relaxed about the campaign. For the first time.
I’m glad it’s on fairly late, but if the Daytona 500 is still on, it’s going to be tough!
Sure we can. He is a celebrity. Just like Obama.
NOt yet. I don’t think this is going to be a cake walk until after Super Tuesday.
I think you can gauge your level of relaxation by the Fox faces. When they have actual tears running down their sad little cheeks, you know it’s over. Their stunned and very unhappy faces last night indicate that it is, indeed, ok to feel relaxed.
My best friend and her husband are threatening to go. I told her we were taking a pass as its not in a great area. I told her to let me know if they go.
I think though, it was Todd who said it, leading into the question of whether Cruz saw the state as a "must win."
I did not say cakewalk and yes, major hurdles ahead. But please, let me relax today, even if Trump isnt. :)
If I thought he would lose Georgia, I would be more likely to vote for him, but he won't. So, I will definitely show up to vote for conservatives in other races, and will likely just write in someone for president. I really don't want my name on this phony and the likely disaster he will be as president. True, he probably won't be as bad as Obama and hopefully, he will be better than Bern or Hill, but I really don't see much good coming from him. Maybe, he will keep his word on the border wall, but I doubt it.
