Well .. sort of. But, even though we are 4 and 4 of justices, if there is a tie .. then the decision goes back down to the lower court - and that decision stands.
And .. in case you didn’t know .. that means that Obama’s DACA would go back to the lower court - AND IT WOULD BE NULL AND VOID. Which means that the mass immigration of young people would be halted.
So, it’s not so bad after all to be minus one judge; at lease on the DACA issue. And, I can see why Obama is “thrilled” to be able to appoint another justice.
We don’t have 4 votes anyone who counts on Roberts is naive as hell.He’s compromised.We are sitting 5/3 right now.
