So what? I’ve had multiple Trump supporters here tell me they no longer care about conservatism, they just want Trump whether or not he is conservative. If his own supporters are saying that it doesn’t matter whether Trump is conservative, then how does it suddenly matter when Rush says it?
Trump is a nationalist and Cruz is a squish on immigration, TPA, TPP, Corker amendment. Trump has promised me a wall. So what great thing is a Cruz Presidency going to do for me? Lower marginal rates? Trump is for that. Is Cruz going to rescind all EO’s? Trump is going to to that too. So what does Cruz give me as President? Only more of the same, the same heartburn having to watch him like a hawk so he does not sell out to International globullist K St. cartel.
There are very few who argue the merits of any of Trump’s positions anymore. All of their arguments are about Trump himself, his leadership ability, his persona, his this and his that. Nothing about issues.
