You might want to bring that up with Trump.

The local US District Court Judge may have tossed the case, but the Circuit Court of Appeals reinstated it.

The fact remains that on appeal, the Court ruled against Trump, that Trump or one of his minions used a false name in order to threaten an attorney, that a direct employee of Trump was regularly on the job site, that Trump knew or shold have known what was going on, That Trump claimed he had no duty to pay the illegal workers, and Trump settled the matter with the employees and had the settlement sealed so it would not be public.

So you still think Trump did nothing wrong?

Trump should have said that illegals are breaking the backs & bankrupting our country...the cause of sky high medical insurance costs.

He did what he set out to do. He made it clear, as Mark Steyn says, that Cruz’s win in Iowa was tainted by shenanigans.

There’s a method to his rants, and then you wake up and realize he was right all along. Cruz can be hit with cheating, and now it’s clear that he just might not have even won Iowa.

Now Trump is back to his signature issue. The demise of our country....starting with illegals.

Welcome Bubba.

Tell us about the real world, having to survive with the unions and left wing local governments.

I’ve actually been here since April 1998, starting with a different screen name. My original sign-up number was under 1800. No one was here in 1992 since th site wasn’t created until 1997.

The NBC Latino link from 2013 says Trump told them the Senate immigration bill was a death wish, and that we need to do the right thing and actually fix immigration.

I agree with both of those. The comprehensive immigration bill was broken bad, a death wish, and the right thing needed doing instead.

I like his plan. Deportation + evaluation + legal immigration.

Personally, I don’t think judges will be letting anyone remove the parents of children who are interpreted by current law to be anchor baby US citizens. JMHO.

That’s why Trump favors getting rid of the anchor baby interpretation.

By the same measure, Trump hasn’t made one vote against any of those, or fufilled a single campaign promise.

Correct, and I might add, none of our candidates really have any wins on conservative policy. Just a lot of noise.

"...We got a born-again now in the white house,..."

Wait! Whut? If you believe the islamist in the white hut is a Christian, no wonder your use of the perjorative "bible-thumper" comes easy to you.

Btw, welcome to FR.

On the move back/dreamer link he says that he’ll move them out.

Think on that for a moment, please.

He WILL move them OUT.

And then if not criminal/leech, then they can get worker status legally.

I have no problem with that.

Dreamers are, and correct me if I’m wrong, not anchor babies, but children who came here at a very young age, and who have lived here and this is the only place they really know as home. Is that correct?

In any case, he still says they move out, but that we’ll have a program with a big heart that takes care of them in some way. I think I’d probably treat them as the inhabitants of US protectorates are treated. I can’t remember the word, but it’s not citizen.

I think Trump and Cruz are the only ones saying deport. Is that correct?

A few months ago Cruz said ‘legal entry’ is ok. Then he changed to deport only as the campaigns heated up.

Trump has always said to deport, conduct a vetting, and allow some access to legal reentry.

Those that are already here are of immigrant stock in one form or another.

Unless like Elizabeth Warren, you too are Cherokee. :>)

This is the ‘work’ that illegals do ‘that Americans won’t do:

Mow your lawn, and leave a mess.

Dry you car at the local automated car wash.

Change the sheets at the hotels/motels in So Calif.

Do housework for cash for families where both parents work.

Clean stalls & do feeding at horse stables.

Roofing work, because the workmen’s comp premium on roofing labor is more than 100% of the gross hourly pay. Pay the man $100 & then pay over $100 for workmen’s comp premium.

Janitor work while in the SEIU—which doesn’t check your legal status.

I lived in Calif from Feb 1964 to Dec 2004.

Home Depot has built shelters in their parking lots for the ‘comfort’ of the illegals who are there trying to snag cash day labor work.

A So Calif person would think it is just fine that illegals do yard work, housework, etc., because they are too busy on their smart phones & ‘being out & being seen’.

Mr. Cruz, for all his ‘laid out plans’ (something ‘bout mice and men comes to mind), would still NOT have the marbles to state what Mr. Trump so elegantly put (I’ll be happy to eat humble pie IF it ever happens).

The rest of the field, I’d bet, mentally assumed a fetal position, physically shake, perspiring and began babbling out apologies and platitudes for all the ‘good’ illegal criminals do for the U.S.
