Quite to the contrary, as I’ve stated repeatedly, I have questions about every single one of the candidates, including Ted Cruz. What is patently clear is that Trump supporters, by and large, are willing to excuse Trump’s past positions and statements on anything and everything - even if those past positions and statements are as recent as yesterday.
And while I agree that the Carson story was at least premature and at the most dirty politics, it wasn’t illegal and didn’t even violate any party rules. On that note, it certainly wasn’t any dirtier than Trump calling Carson “pathologically diseased” and comparing him to a “pedophile”:
On the Carson story: I read Gifted Hands, and this story is in it. Trump’s interpretation told me that the Holy Sprint had a lot more work to do with Donald Trump. It apparently still takes a two-by-four to the head to get his attention. I am sure several little Christian old ladies talked to him about the Carson comments. I would not be surprised if Ivanka or Melania talked to him about those comments.
Donald went to Church the day before the Iowa Caucus, and heard a sermon on humility. The Church didn’t know he was coming, but that “just happened” to be the topic. The next day he places second to Ted Cruz through a series in intricately timed “mistakes” about the Carson campaign.
YHWH’s hand is in this. We are near, or maybe in, Daniel’s Seventieth Week. Look up! Your redemption draws neigh!
