I'll probably vote for Cruz or Rubio in the primary. In the general election I'd leave the ballot blank if it's Trump vs. Clinton (or Sanders). I don't want to make a nasty, arrogant blowhard like Trump the most powerful man in the world.

Oh, and I am not some part of the "political establishment", having never worked for a politician or think tank or been a politician.

‘I don’t want to make a nasty, arrogant blowhard like Trump the most powerful man in the world.’

Well, then you contributed to making a nasty arrogant blowhard like Hillary the most powerful woman in the world.

When that happens, kiss your liberties good, idiot!

Thank you NYT for your support. We all know how much you favor the Republican line so hearing from you in this way is heart warming indeed. /s

If I said I would vote for Trump I would by lying.

Some seem to want that to feed their fantasy that Trump is electable but they’ll be better off if they just rely heavily on democrats to support their guy.

“Mr. Trump has no desire to acquaint himself with most issues, let alone master them. He has admitted that he doesn’t prepare for debates or study briefing books; he believes such things get in the way of a good performance. No major presidential candidate has ever been quite as disdainful of knowledge, as indifferent to facts, as untroubled by his benightedness. “

The New York Times is still full of All the News That Fits the Liberal Agenda. Staying home gave us BHO.

No vote? Then you will have abrogated your right to bitch about things as they are.

I am sorry, but like the New York Times, you are just too sophisticated and nuanced, for me.

Just vote “present” like your Resident in Chief.

Why some people are so stuck on the trivial many versus the vital few, i’ll never know! Trump will make America great... the rest will fall into place!!!

Peter Wehner, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, served in the last three Republican administrations

Peter Wehner is one of Bush's stooges who gets in the news by going after anyone the Bush family or other GOP Establishment types don't like. Last time I remember seeing his name is when he went after Mark Levin. He's a Bush/Compassionate Conservative Establishment type. If he will never vote for Trump, it makes me more likely to vote for Trump.

Yeah, but you do not seem to have a problem with illegals flooding the nation.

Hillary or Bernie would be so much better.

Thanks for playing.

If it is Cruz or Rubio, maybe I will leave the ballot blank because I want a natural born citizen for President, not another ineligible person with foreign ties.

I agree. A lot of people are going to vote for Trump because he’s all of those thing. For me, principles are more important than power. I will never vote for a disgusting conman.

I’ll be working for a Cruz win, as well as sending money.

Nonetheless, Trump would be a better President than our recent choices. There is a chance he could be great (as well as a chance that he would be a great disappointment.)

But it is worth a chance if he is the choice.

WOW. The NYT must really want Trump to win. What an endorsement.

Trump is over the target.

I don’t understand the need for the ‘I’m not going to vote for ______’ kind of comments. Seems childish to me and I doubt it will persuade others to take their toys and go home. It’s simple, vote, don’t vote, live with the consequences.
