30 years ago, that was an “iffy” neighborhood. Now I understand that it is definitely a no-go zone. You have to feel sorry for the people trying to make an honest dollar there.

Site of action is between Burnside (North) and Cottage Grove Heights (South). This was once Irish and German working class, I think. Still looks to be a busy commercial area near a big bank of American center. Great place to have to go to make a living. (sigh)
