Donald Trump returned to his roots Wednesday morning, suggesting that Ted Cruzâs birth in Canada could pose a problem for Republicans if they selected the Texas Senator to be their candidate. MSNBC host Joe Scarborough began by bringing up attacks on Cruzâs eligibility and Trumpâs history of questioning Barack Obamaâs birth certificate. âThis is something obviously you talked about before with Barack Obama, itâs something that I suspect weâre going to be hearing more about in the next couple weeks. Is there any validity to those claims?â âHonestly I hope itâs not the case,â Trump began. âI hope thatâs not going to be a problem for him, but Iâve been hearing a lot about itâ¦â âItâs a problem for him, and itâs a problem obviously for the Republicans,â he continued. âLetâs assume he got a nomination and the Democrats bring suit, the suit takes two to three years to solve. So how do you run?â âSo, itâs certainly a concern, I guess, for the party,â Trump said. âBut I hope thatâs not the case. Iâm not involved in that, but a lot of people are bringing it up, absolutely."

Donald Trump 2016 Ping List
FReepMail me if you want to be added or removed from this ping list.
Thanks for the ping, PJ!
Thanks for the ping.
What if one of these anchor babies with no American parent wants to run for president? They are automatic American citizens. Why does Trump keep pushing this? I really don’t like it. I wish someone would bring up that bio that Obama himself wrote that stated he was born in Kenya. It was never discussed by the media and Briebart died I think, shortly before it was produced. Obama lied then or he is still lying. No one talks about it.
With all this Cruz crap, Trump is sounding more and more like Alan Grayson.
I disagree. He is sounding nothing like Grayson!
grayson has more tact?
Trump is handling Cruz with kid gloves. For those who think that bringing up the citizenship thing is brutal I have a news flash, it’s already out there. It just hasn’t been talked about as much because Cruz wasn’t leading anywhere.
Trump defended Cruz on Morning Joe, was reporter trying to put words in Cruz’s mouth.
What an image! Who’s the guy sitting next to Cruz?
Thanks for the ping.
Saving to watch later.
I think that’s Rand Paul.
What an image! Whoâs the guy sitting next to Cruz?
I think it is one of the little rascals
I think you’re right. Thanks!
Trump is a two-bit con artist.
I am with you on that. The Breitbart article about Obama being "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" went up on the internet on May 17, 2012, a couple of months after Andrew Breitbart's sudden (and perhaps suspicious) death on March 1, 2012. The literary agency that produced the booklet that made the born in Kenya claim explained it as a mere fact checking error but that doesn't pass the laugh test. The "facts" in the bio could ONLY have come from Obama. Unfortunately, there was and continues to be no functioning political opposition or watchdog media to force Obama explain this smoking gun.

I like how everything is magnified.
Trump isn’t pushing it!!! Didn’t you notice Joe ask Trump??
Did we even watch the same video??
Good Grief!
